Capturing the moment.....

What we see with our eyes and capture on our cameras, phones, tablets and a host of devices. Our lives, history, social history, hobbies and pastimes, are recorded at every opportunity, and fed back to us via every form of visual communication available.

Images are saturating our every waking moment, from both within our society and the world at large. The world has never been such a small place and such a big visual part of all our lives.

Over the years I have captured thousands of still and moving images, and from the age of 11 when my parents bought me a Kodak Instamatic camera to take with me on a school trip, I have been obsessed with “capturing the moment”.

For two thirds of my working life, I worked within the media industry, from trade and technical publishing and event organising, to film, television and multi-media platform creation.

Along with photography, I have a love of motorbikes, travel, history, people watching, wildlife, motorsport and aviation…. This website is an attempt to showcase a selection of my work over the years.
